As every year 5th of September is celebrated as a teacher’s day to pay tribute to the teachers for their precious contribution in our study as well as towards the society and country. There is a great reason behind the celebration of teacher’s day on 5th of September. Actually 5th of September is the birthday of Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan .He was a great person and highly devoted towards the education .He was well known as the Scholar, diplomat, vice president of India and the most importantly the Teacher .On 4th September, 2018 we celebrated teacher’s day in our college. The lectures were conducted by student teachers in the morning session. It was from 10:30 to 1:30.Overall 8 to 10 lectures were conducted in each class. On this day the Principal was Ms.Siddhi Chavan the student of final year B.Pharm .The vice principle was Mr.Sanket Metkari from third year B.Pharm. They handled each class very well. The student teachers took the lectures brilliantly. Later in the afternoon session the formal program was held.
The programme began with Saraswati Poojan along with poojan of Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan frame. Our principal sir lightened the lamp along with other staff members and further we started with our programme.
Anchoring was done by Ms. Shraddha Sawant & Mr.Dhiraj.Pandit.
Our head of Cultural incharge Mrs P.S Bhandare mam felicitated our Principal Sir Dr.A.V.Yadav Sir. Next we proceeded with felicitation of our student principal Ms. Siddhi Chavan and student vice principal Mr.Sanket Metkari along with teaching staff as well as non-teaching staff members.
Some of the students shared their thoughts with everyone. After this student principal and vice principal shared their experiences.
Finally Principal sir and vice principal sir enlightened us with few words and guided students for the future. Vote of thanks was given by Ms.Nyna.Vhatkar.
